MILES, (202)782-1121 Walter Reed Army Medical Center intends to contract for the creation and conducting of a treatment protocol for 36 patients from private sector or non-federal pyhsicians who have used and will use the antibacterial treatment method based upon the excretion of dead and decaying spherical bacteria, to work in conjunction with the Walter Reed Army Medical Center on a treatment protocol and related studies for Desert Storm Syndrome-affected veterans. The government intends to negotiate with the Lousiana Medical Foundtion on a sole source basis. If this requirement can be met, a copy of the solicitation may be requested from the address above. If no affirmative responses are received within 15 calendar days after publication of this notice to the effect that other sources can meet these specifications, a contract will be negotiated on a sole source basis.
