The Ballistic Missile Defense Organization (BMDO) is seeking services in support of the BMDO Civil Engineering Division covering technical and administrative functions required for the overall headquarters-level planning, programming, program development, implementation, and monitoring for facilities design and construction, test and facility siting, and environmental activities. Particular areas of support include: special engineering studies, facility planning and requirements development, environmental impact analysis, engineering site investigations and evaluation, facility criteria development, policy, programming, and budgeting documentation preparation, scheduling management, and engineering oversight on the facilities and utility system design, construction, operations, and maintenance process. The contract will be Cost-Plus-Fixed- Fee (CPFF), Level-of-Effort, Task Order contract with a two-year base period and three one-year options, having minimum/maximum labor hours per year of 19,000/29,000 respectively. Planned contract award is June 1995. The acquisition is being offered as a total small business set-aside limited to eligible small businesses as defined in Standard Industrial Classification Code 8711, Engineering Services ($20.0M). All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the BMDO. The Government will be posting the draft Statement of Work and intends to post the RFP package to the BMDO Acquisition Reporting Bulletin Board (BARBB).
