The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Shore Station Management Competency, Patuxent River, Maryland has a requirement to provide professional and specialized training to employees (military, civilian and contractor) of the NAWCAD and its Tenants. This training shall consist of specific Occupational Safety and Health (OSH), Environmental, and Hazardous Material (HAZMAT) Programs. It is anticipated that 45 different type classes will be performed per year. Some classes may be offered on a one time basis, others may be offered as much as twelve times per year. The Contractor shall provide instructors and handout materials and keep records of attendance. The contractor shall independently provide both classroom and hands-on training to employees to enable them to perform the specific work processes in a safe manner in compliance with regulatory authorities. All training will be performed on-site at Government facility during NAWCAD normal tour =f duty, 0730 through 1600 hours on standard work days. All instructors shall be certified by appropriate federal, state, and local licensing agencies and be qualified to perform instructional and licensing duties. It is anticipated that a firm fixed price Indefinite Delivery type contract be awarded. The period of performance shall be a base year with four one year options beginning 01 October 1995.
