Postal Service is soliciting proposals for the renovation of approximately 6,000 sf of vacant retail space for the new Postal Retail Store at 411 Barnum Avenue Cutoff in Bridgeport, CT 06497-9998. Work includes, but is not limited to, demolition, concrete, masonry, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical and other improvements. The estimated cost of the work is between $300,000.00 and $600,000.00, with completion within 150 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. Sealed offers will be received in this office prior to, but no later than, 4:00 p.m. on February 9, 1995. Offers will not be publicly opened. The number of offers received, the identity of the offerors, the amount of any offer, or relative standing of the offerors WILL NOT BE DISCLOSED TO ANYONE until award of contract is made. Proposal documents, plans and specifications will be available o/a January 11, 1995 at a cost of $25.00 per set (non-refundable) from the Facilities Service Office, U. S.
