Bid opening date of 02 March 95 is only an estimated date. In general, work consists of the following: Removal of existing built-up roofing, roof insulation, plastic and metal flashing, metal vent hoods, and other miscellaneous items. Remove and reinstall lightning protection systems. Install new roof insulation and build-up roofing with gravel surfacing. Install new plastic and metal flashings and other miscellaneous items. Painting of new work. The sites of work are located at Eglin AFB FL. Estimated range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Performance period is 130 calendar days. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. Firms responding should indicate if they are a small or small disadvantaged business.
