The U.S. Army Engineeer Division, Huntsville has a requirement for the procurement, site preparation, and installation of a Nurse Call System at Wilford Hall U.S. Air Force Medical Center (WHMC), Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. The contractor shall furnish and install an Audio Visual Nurse Call (AVNC) System, which includes the following: patient stations, cord sets, code blue stations, staff intercom stations, duty stations, master stations, dome lights, zone lights, main terminal/equipment panel, failure alarm panel, radio page CPU, information system ADT interface unit. The contractor shall remove the existing Bunting RCS-10 Communications System (installed in 1982) throughout WHMC (approximately 923 beds). The proposed period of performance will be approximately one year, commencing immediately upon award. A fixed price contract shall be awarded as a result of this solicitation. A technical proposal will be required from all offerors. The significant evaluation factors will be technical capabilities, management experience and price.
