Contractor(s) shall provide ten Disconnect Switches (4 each rated 69-kV and 6 each rated 230-kV) and one Motor Operated Circuit Switcher (230-kV) for delivery to the Mead Substation, Nevada, and will include: spare parts, training, seismic report, and service of erecting engineer. Delivery of equipment will be no sooner than December 1, 1995 and no later than January 1, 1996. Multiple awards are anticipated. The IFB (Invitation for Bid) DE-FB65-95WG26428 will be issued on or about January 26, 1995 on an unrestricted basis. All bids from responsible sources will be considered. The solicitation will be issued on IBM-compatible, 3.5 inch double sided high density DOS formatted diskettes; created using WordPerfect 5.1, formatted for printing on a postscript printer. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the Western Area Power Administration. All requests for the IFB must be in writing.
