70 -- CONVEX SOFTWARE SOL 50-YABC-5-66008 POC Patti Becker, 301/457-1864 The Census Bureau intends to negotiate with Convex Corp. on an other Than Full and Open Competition basis for the following software products: TMRC-001-200 Convex Tape Mount Request and Tape Catalog license and software support services and SI-FSS-217 FileServ software for STK Silo and software support services. The support services include: layered software product support coverage, Monday through Friday, nine (9) hours per day, generally from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., EST,. Maintenance includes layered software problem diagnosis and correction, layered software product installations, major and minor software releases, bug fixes and telephone support. The maintenance with be for one year with two one year optional periods. The government anticipates an award for one year of services with two one-year options. This is not a notice of a formal solicitation. However, concerns that respond must furnish sufficient technical information which demonstrates their ability to meet this requirement. This information will be considered only if clear and convincing evidence, including technical and pricing data is provided, that interested sources can meet the requirements of the government, and that it is advantageous for the government to consider such sources.
