Project scope includes site work, tieing into existing utility systems (water, electrical, sewer, telephone), construction of a single story reinforced concrete framed structure of approximately 2,000 square meters including a high bay area of approximately 220 square meters. The building provides space for classrooms, briefing rooms, lounge, administrative areas, small kitchen/dining area, flight simulator and other training devices, restrooms and mechanical/electrical equipment rooms. Paving includes asphalt driveway, parking for approximately 38 vehicles, plus sidewalks. The estimated construction cost is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00 (U.S. dollars). The Request for Proposal will be issued on or about 20 February 1995. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern.
