The scope of work includes three projects: FY94, PN 39483-Replace 100 units of Army Family Housing; FY95,PN 39526-Replace 56 units of Army Family Housing; and FY96, PN39527-19 Units of Army Family Housing. The successful offeror will be awarded a single contract. These three projects include construction of 156 new units with options for 19 additional new units, as well as demolition of existing housing units, garages and storage sheds. The existing garages have lead-based paint. The work includes design and construction of: site development on Army property; three, four, and five bedroom family housing units; environmental protection measures for wetlands and historical sites; connection to utilities; abatement of hazardous waste; and miscellaneous required work. The site is predominantly rock. Network Analysis System will be required. The estimated magnitude of this project is more than $10,000,000. The duration of the contract, including design and construction, is approximately 1,100 calendar days. A pre-proposal conference and site visit will be conducted at the facility on or about 22 Feb 1995. The exact date and time will be established in the solicitation.
