Furnish manpower, materials, equipment, supervision, and all associated incidentals for asbestos abatement of ceiling and replacement of ceiling tiles as described in the specifications and plans. The work includes the abatement of 2 x 4 and 2 x 2 ceiling tiles which have been identified as asbestos containing material (ACM). There is approximately 33,100 SF of ceiling tile and it is located in the perimeter rooms and mezzanine air handler rooms as shown on plans. There is approximately 34,000 SF of replacement acoustical ceiling tile. The project is designed in 20 work phases based on availability of the rooms. Office areas will have abatement and replacement of ceiling tiles within a twelve hour period. Facility is the Fort Lauderdale, Florida Main Post Office, 1900 W. Oakland Park Blvd. The estimated cost range is $135,000 to $175,000. Cost of the plans and specifications for this project is $35 per set, nonrefundable.
