Tank H-2's sludge contains benzine. Tanks B-1, C-1, and L-1 will be turned over to the Contractor empty and will be free of sludge and water. Clean all tanks. Sandblast and reline all tanks. Two of the tanks coatings contain arsenic, chromium, and lead. Repair all tanks and replace structural sand cushion, and cone-down floor with center sump over existing floor. Recoat exterior of all tanks. Contract includes incidental related work. The magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00. The performance period is 360 calendar days. The solicitation will be issued approximately 30 January 1995 with bid opening on/or about 07 March 1995.(0009)
