Cretin, Contracting Officer, (602)328-6348 US Army Yuma Proving Ground, AZ intends to negotiate on A sole source basis and award A contract to Kaman sciences Corporation,1500 Garden of the gods Road, box 7463, Colorado springs, Co 809337463 for the expansion of previously developed optical adjunct (OA) technology and multiple object sensing/tracking imagingpositioning/scoring systems (mostips) for test range automation and virtual Proving Ground capabilities. Development and fielding ofmostips was acquired from Kaman sciences under previous US Army contracts for OA technology development and mostips production. Recent mandates for interaction between test centers and for test range automation involve the previously developed OA and require expansion and additional interfaces of the mostips components. This effort must be accomplished by Kaman sciences to maintain compatibility and integrity within the networking architecture. This effort is anticipated to be accomplished under A three-yeartime and materials type contract with Kaman sciences. See Note 22.(0010)
