The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to procure Color Shifting Ink for use in printingU.S. Currency. The BEP anticipates awarding a FFP Requirements type contract. The period of performance will be for one 12-month base period plus four 12-month option periods. The RFP will be available on or about Jan 21, 95. The BEP estimates procuring approx. 4,300 lbs in the 1st yr, with increasing quantities each option yr, up to approx. 6,400 lbs in the 4th option yr. Interested firms are required to submit a written request for a copy of this RFP. Please submit the request within 15 calendar days of this announcement. All firms shall include in their written request for a copy of the solicitation, its size status (i.e., Large, Small, Minority, or Women-Owned). Telephone requests will not be honored.
