P -- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD AN ORDER AGAINST A GSA NON-MANDATORY SCHEDULE CONTRACT, SUPPLY/EQUIPMENT CODE: 58, GLOBAL POSITIONING SATELLITE (GPS) NAVIGATION SYSTEM SOL DAHA90-95-F-OTBD due 013195. POC MAJ Dan Clever, Contracting Officer, (703) 681-0606, FAX (703) 681-0600. The National Guard Bureau (NGB) announces it's intent to award an order against a GSA Non-Mandatory Schedule Contract. The proposed contractor is Trimble Navigation, the proposed GSA schedule contract is: GS00K93AGS0667 PS02. The procurement contemplated is for thirteen (13) each Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) Navigation Systems, Model TNL3100NVG (including antennae and commercial operator's manuals). The intended application of the equipment desired is for installation aboard OH-58A+ helicopters. All responses from responsive sources will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, the Contracting Officer may determine that a solicitation will be issued. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published. Any such solicitation will be issued to the intended schedule vendor and all firms that respond to this synopsis of intent or otherwise request a copy of the solicitation. The equipment to be procured is needed not later than 30 Jun 95. Prospective offerors should submit pricing data to the Contracting Officer identified in line #11 above, not later than 31 Jan 95.
