The Australian Department of Defence plans to issue in late January 1995 a draft Request for Tender seeking comments from companies expressing interest in participating in a project to provide helicopters and associated support requirements for the Royal Australia Navy's ANZAC ships. This special notice is aimed not only at manufacturers of helicopters but also at companies producing appropriate weapons systems, simulator / flight trainers and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) for the aircraft. Following issue of the draft tender documentation to interested parties, it is proposed to conduct an industry brief in Canberra on 23 February 1995.
