Invitation for Bids: IFB, drawing and specifications will be available o/a 28 Jan 95 for Renovate Dorms project number 92-0009. Furnish all labor, equipment and materials as necessary to perform minor remodeling and upgrade of interior finishes. Work is 93% general, 3% electrical. Work is not in a restricted area and consists of a 360 day performance period. Project magnitude is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This action is being considered for 100% set-asides for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) Concerns. Interested SDB concerns should notify our office, in writing, of their intention to bid on the project as a prime contractor as early as possible but no later than 23 Jan 95. This notification must include a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern, evidence of capacity to obtain required bonds, and specific information which demonstrates the capability to perform projects of this complexity and magnitude. Complete information concerning management experience in similar work and financial status should be submitted with references. Failure to submit all the above information or complete packages will not be considered as serious SDB concerns. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice. Therefore, replies to this office are still requested from all interesated business concerns as well as from Small Disadvantaged Business Concerns.
