Furnish all labor, material, supplies and equipment necessary for the demolition and restoration of the Radar Microwave Link Repeater (RMLR) site in Nelson, NH. Work shall include the demolition of a 180 foot high steel tower, tower foundation, guy wires and three anchoring blocks; removal of a single story concrete block (15 foot x 26 foot) building including its foundation; removal of a 100 foot x 100 foot x 6 foot high chain link fence; removal of the gravel access road guard post and the corrugated metal pipes. The site shall be restored to the original grade. The IFB shall be issued on January 16, 1995, with an opening date of February 15, 1995. This procurement is not a set-aside. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, performance and payment bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80% guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses.
