23 -- INSTRUMENTATION VAN SOL DAAD01-95-B-0217 DUE 031495 POC Contact Carol Lewis, Contract Specialist (602)328-6124 Requirement for instrumentation vans, used to provide optical instrumentation support of test projects at the U.S. Army Yuma provingground. The vans will be used for operation and transportation of high speed imaging systems over rough desert terrain. Minimum requirements consist of, but are not limited to; four-wheel drive cargo Van, minimum acceptable payload shall be 4000 pounds; available cargo volume-210 cubic feet (minimum); two 40'' high rack mounts shall be mounted in the Van, each rack shall contain an electrical Quad box; Shore power capability; the CAB area shall have air conditioning/heating; the contractor shall install aroof mounted air conditioner/heater such as A Coleman Model Delta TX 6779 B709, BTU 13,500 in the cargo area, the unit shall have climate control sufficient to keep the cargo interior at A temperature of 75-80 degrees fwhen the outside temperature range varies between 30 and 120 degrees F. Award ofa 1-year requirements contract is anticipated, with an estimated quantity of 3 each instrumentation vans to be purchased during the period of thecontract.
