Water reducible, air-drying, corrosion-inhibiting epoxy-type primer for application on pretreated ferrous and on-ferrous metals. The primer is lead and chromate-free and is compatible with chemical agent resistant aliphatic polyurethane topcoats. The epoxy-type primer shall meet the characteristics of MIL-P-53030, primer coating, epoxy, water reducible, lead and chromate free. Contractors must appear on the Qualified Products List for these coatings to be considered and submit a batch acceptance letter from the U.S. Army Belvoir Research Development and Eng Center with each delivery order. Delivery is to be made to Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg, PA. This will be a requirement type contract with one 12 month base year and four option years. This solicitation will be 100% set-aside for small businesses. All responsible qualified offerors may submit a proposal which will be considered.
