B -- CONDUCTION OF IN-VITRO/IN-VIVO MUTAGENICITY TESTING SOL DAAD05-94-R-0921 DUE 012595 POC Contract Specialist Kevin Clark (410) 278-4003 (Site Code DAAD05) The U.S. Army Environmental Hygiene Agency at the Aberdeen Proving Ground has a requirement to conduct In-Vivo/In-Vitro Mutagenicity Testing that shall consist of the following: (2) In-Vivo tests on candidate repellents employing a Rodent Dominant Lethal Assay and HG-Chromo-Dominant Lethal Assay; (15) In-Vitro tests on candidate repellents employing the Ames/Salmonella Plate/Assay system using a triple plate assay with five strains: TA-98, TA-100, TA-1535, TA-1537, and TA-1538; (2) In-Vitro tests shall be conducted on each of the following: Salmonella/Ames Assay w/Triplicate Plate, Mouse Micronucleus Assay (2 Sexes), AS52/GPT Mammalian, and CHO/Chromosome Aberrations Assay. All of the above tests must be conducted in accordance with the Federal Good Laboratory Practice Guidelines in a laboratory that has been approved by the Food and Drug Administration. Period of performance shall be for one base year with four one year options, this is an unrestricted procurement.
