The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue orders on multiple occasions over the period of Basic Ordering Agreement N00024-95-G-4048 with Magntek Defense Systems, 901 East Ball Road, P.O. Box 66006, Anaheim, CA 92805. Orders will be issued for inspection and repair of portable testers used to troubleshoot 110KW frequency changers. Orders will be issued pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Magnetek (formerly Teledyne Inet) is the original designer of the portable tester and sole producer of the portable testers. It is the only company which possesses the knowledge, experience, tooling and equipment necessary to perform the tasks described. No other source has the technical qualifications and the necessary resources to perform the work described herein, nor will any other supplies or services satisfy the Navy's requirements.
