The Bureau of Land Management, (BLM), Alaska, has a requirement for a charter vessel, captain and crew, to transport, feed and house six to seven BLM survey personnel, with equipment and supplies, to approximately fourteen locations on Prince of Wales Island. The charter will commence and terminate on Prince of Wales Island, Craig, Alaska. Vessel, captain and crew shall be exclusively available to BLM for the duration of the contract. Minimum vessel requirements: overall length of fifty-five feet, excluding bowsprits, swim platforms and outboard rudder or other protuberances. Main engine(s) continuous horsepower capable of maintaining a minimum cruising speed of eight knots and on deck work areas shall be large enough to accommodate a seventeen foot inflated boat and outboard engine. Performance period is from approximately May 25, 1995 to approximately September 11, 1995. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered.
