The project consists of general construction of 2 single story buildings and associated site improvements. Construction in all buildings include CMU bearing walls, pre-engineered metal buildings systems, and concrete slab-on-grade foundations. The Wharf Alpha Vehicle Wash and Maintenance Complex Vehicle Wash buildings include free standing storage rooms, open pit water collection, and mechanical vehicle washing equipment . Site improvements include paving, utility service connections, and storm water drainage and grading. The proposed acquisition listed herein is being considered for 100% Set-Aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) Concerns. Interested SDB Concerns should notify this office in writing, Attn: Code 0212CC of their intention to bid the project as Prime Contractor as early as possible but no later than 20 JAN 95. This notification must include a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern, evidence of capacity to obtain required bonds and specific information which demonstrates the capability to perform projects of this complexity and magnitude. Complete information concerning management experience in similar work and financial status should be submitted with references. If adequate interest is not received from SDB Concerns, the solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis. In either event, an amended synopsis will be issued indicating set-aside decision.
