The Coast Guard has requirement to purchase Rexroth Axial Piston Pumps part nos. A2V500HS0L5GP and A2V500HS0R5GP for the existing Hydraulic Weight Handling Gear and Cargo Handling Systems. It is the Government's belief that only Rexroth Corporation, the Original Equipment Manufacturer and/or their authorized distributors can furnish the required parts and ensure proper fit, form and function of all its components. Anyone having the expertise and capabilities to provide Axial Piston Pumps in accordance with Rexroth Corporation shall submit information discussing such capabilities within 15 days of this announcement, to the procurement office listed in this announcement. The following information must be provided to evaluate the acceptability of the offered Axial Piston Pumps: 1) complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered pumps (i.e., salient physical, functional and serviceability characteristics), or 2) data that the offered staging components have been satisfactorily manufactured for the government or the original equipment manufacturer. No cost or pricing data is required. This is a sources sought announcement and not a RFP.
