The 55 CONS/LGCXV has a requirement to provide Network Monitoring Support for the Intelligence Data Handling System (IDHS)--a distributed communications--computer system comprised of a number of segments and Communities of Interest (COIs) for the United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM), Intelligence Support Division (J62). The contract will be Firm Fixed Price with a performance period from 1 October 1995 through 30 September 1996 with four one year options. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code for this action is 7379 (Computer Related Services) and the size standard is maximum annual receipts of $18.M. This requirement is for full and open competition. The contractor shall provide, for its own use, management, technical, and administrative personnel, materials, travel and accommodations, equipment, and facilities necessary to meet the requirements of this effort. Network Monitoring Support shall consist of one full time individual on-site USSTRATCOM, Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska. On-site individual shall be Sensitive Compartmented Information eligible. On-site individual shall have a minimum of five years experience in Network and Internet Protocols; Communications Protocols; DSNET/JWICS operation and configuration; SUN Systems and specific Applications Software; Operation, Configuration, and Diagnostic Troubleshooting; Network/System Performance Analysis; Administration of a Network Security Server, Administration of a Network Control Center, and SUN Postmaster duties. On-site individual shall also be certified by Timeplex Federal Systems, Inc. for Advanced Customer Support (ACS). The estimated issuance date of the solicitation is 21 February 1995.
