Jones, (804) 441-7358 The work consists of dredging the Rudee Inlet Channel and Sand Trap by hydraulic pipeline method. The channel shall be dredged to depths varying between 8 feet and 14 feet MLLW (NOS) with 2 feet of allowable overdepth and the Sand Trap to depths varying between 18 feet and 20 feet MLLW (NOS) with 2 feet of allowable overdepth. The contractor shall place the dredged material in the Government-furnished placement area. The project involves dredging approximately 110,000 cubic yards of material. Magnitude is estimated between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This project is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Duration of the project is 60 calendar days.
