Fuel Oil Barge. The Steel Fuel Oil Barge will be used for service on
the Mississippi River and its tributaries. The approximate dimensions
of the vessel are 195 feet in length, 35 feet in beam, and 12 feet
depth at side. Cargo capacity is anticipted at 336,000 gallons. The
vessel will be USCG Certified as Subchapter D Tank Vessels, Classed by
ABS as Maltese Cross A1 Oil Barge with AMS in River Service and will
meet all the requirements of the Oil Pollution Act of 1990 (OPA90). The
vessel is intended to utilize manufacturer's existing designs or design
features. Liquidated Damages are included in the contract and bonding
is required. The Invitation for Bids (IFB) will be available on or
about 07 February 1995. All requests for specifications must be in

number, fax number and business size. The applicable SIC is 3731 with
a size standard of 1000 employees. The procurement is 100% Set-Aside
