to negotiate with Grumman Melbourne Systems Division (GMSD), 2000 NASA
Boulevard West, Melbourne, FL, 323904-2322 for Lot IV of the E8-C
Production Program. During Lot IV, the Contractor will fabricate,
integrate, test and deliver two (2) Joint Surveillance Target Attack
Radar System (Joint STARS) E8-C Systems, and provide initial spares,
associated data, over and above refurbishment effort, and a Weapon
System Warranty. In addition to the requirement listed above and in the
Source Sought Synopsis published 10 June 1994, the contractor will be
required to acquire and store up to ten (10) 707-300C series aircraft
for future Joint STARS Production line induction. The draft and final
versions of the request for proposal may be accessed electronically

incumbent contractor. Statutory Authority is 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as

that only GMSD has the requisite management, technical expertise, Joint
STARS experience and resources to accomplish within current schedule
