meters, footing 3 sets, steel-pipe-sheet-pile well foundation 1 set,
abutment 1 set, void slab retaining Walls 30 meters, and U-shaped
retaining Walls 20 meters; 4) Construction period approx. 22 months; 5)
main materials to be used 235 precast concrete piles (diameter 800 to
1,00O millimeters, pile length 62 to 75 mbters), 11,000 cubic meters of
concrete, 1,000 tons of rbinforcing steel, 5,900 tons of steel for
temporary work; 6) deadline for submission of application forms/related

criteria at the time of application for qualification; 4) firms that
have -- since 1989 as the main contractor -- actually carried out and
completed Construction of a half-underground structure or tunnel,
including underground utility duct, by the open-cut (earth-retaining)
method. Note: only Construction projects in which bidder has had a 30
percent or greater share are eligible for consideration, and in the
case of bidding consortium, all member firms must have experience of
completing a project; 5) firms that can assign to the Construction site
a full-time chief engineer or engineering supervisor and a field
Representative who meet separately specified criteria (see Tender
documents for details); 6) firms that can present an adequate plan for
the project; 7) firms not currently suspended from designation by the
Metropolitan Expressway Public Corporation; 8) firms not undergoing
bankruptcy procedures; 9) firms not related by capital or personnel to
the contractors involved in this project (see Tender documents for
details); and 10) the form of Tender participation must be by a
two-firm consortium, but firms that have the experience as described in
item (4) above as a single entity or the Representative of a consortium
are also eligible bid documents must be obtained directly from the
submitting agency, not from U S. Embassy date of publication in
