Services are required to remove and dispose of electrical equipment
(transformers and capacitors), two 100,000 gallon above-ground fuel
storage tanks, and sixteen 115-gallon to 50,000-gallon underground fuel
storage tanks from three former USAF installations located at Baudette,
Duluth, and Grand Rapids, Minnesota. This work is part of the Defense
Environmental Restoration Program (DERP) for Formerly Used Defense
Sites (FUDS). Services also include excavation and soils and chemical
testing. This procurement is issued unrestricted under the Small
Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, Public Law 100-656. SIC
Code - 1795 (for informational purposes only the size standard for this
SIC code is $7 million). The solicitation package for this project is
expected to be available approximately February 2, 1995, with bid
opening on or about March 7, 1995. Documents may be obtained by written
request to the Contracting Division (address as listed above)
specifying Sol. No. DACA37-95-B-0012. After the issue date documents
will also be available in the Contracting Division on the 8th floor of
the Army Corps of Engineers Centre, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m.
