Q -- NONPERSONAL SERVICES CONTRACT FOR DENTAL ASSISTANT SOL 157-0020. DUE 022895. POC Deborah Townson, Contract Specialist, 205/264-1820. Nonpersonal services medical contract for provision of service to the male inmate population of a minimum security federal prison by one (1) dental assistant for a contract period which includes a base year not to exceed twelve (12) months with four (4) one-year options for renewal. This contractual position is estimated to be for five eight-hour sessions per week and is not estimated to exceed 250 sessions per twelve-month period. Each contractual position shall not exceed 40 hours per week. Contractor(s) shall be a graduate of an approved dental assistant program and have a minimum of one (1) year experience. Contractual duties include the following; however, the list is not all-inclusive and specific attention should be paid to the Statement of Work included within the solicitation package: provision of chairside services with all dental clinical patient procedures, to include four-handed dentistry; take and develop all necessary radiographs; take impressions; pour study models; fabricate impression trays; chart decay and other dental abnormalities in chart; and maintain records for monitoring the exposure to radiation and hazardous materials. Solicitation packages will be available on or about 01-25-95 with scheduled opening of proposals on 02-28-95.
