Provide all labor, material, equipment, transportaton and supervision
required to drive piles and construct new navigaional aid structures
along the Michigan Inland Route between Oden and Cheboygan, MI. Work
shall include demolition and removal of existing single pile, salvaging
of navigational buoys, recovery of submerged piling/navigational
structures, and pile driving and construction necessary to construct
new pile structures. The estimated range is between $25K and $100K. SIC

for minority woman-owned and disadvantaged enterprises: The Dept. of
Transportaition (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business
Utilizaion (OSDBU), has programs to assist minority, woman-owned and
disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short-term working
capital and bonding assistance for transportation-related contracts.
This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier.
The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid,
performance and payment bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT
provides an 80% guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against
losses. Loans are also available under the DOT Short Term Lending
Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide addounts receivable
financing. The maximum line of credit is $5000,000. For further
