The National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal on or about 02/06/95, for a proposal from firms who have interest and experience in electrical upgrades. The successful offeror shall perform the upgrade the elecrical service to the Process Development Unit (PDU). This will include but is not limited to: installing 500 feet of medium voltage electrical duct bank, sectionalization switches, 1500 kva transformer, 1500 kw standby generator, automatic transfer switch, 300 fet of low voltage electrical duct bank, and 3000 amp rated switchgear. The medium voltage wire, generator, transformer, switchgear, and sectionalization switches will be government supplied equipment. It is anticipated that the performance completion date will be no later than 04/03/95. This is dependent upon award date of the subsequent subcontract. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The SIC code for this project is 1731 with a size standard of $7.0 MM in average annual receipts over the past three years. The estimated magnitude is between $100,000 and $250,000.
