Hadley, Contracting Officer, 671/339-2926 This is an indefinite quantity contract to provide and secure the removal and disposal of asbestos materials and the installation of asbestos free insulation and miscellaneous piping systems at various military facilities at the rates set forth in the Schedule of Indefinite Quantity work items. The contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, materials, equipment, and supervision required to remove and dispose of various types of asbestos containing materials. The work also includes the installation of miscelleneous steam, chilled, condenser or dual service water piping systems and the installation of asbestos free insulation, floor tiles, cove base, and other related work. Contract minimum is $10,000,000. Contract term shall commence from date of award and shall be for a period to twelve months or until the maximum amount of work has been ordered, which ever occurs first. The government has the option to extend the terms of contract in accordance with the OPTION TO EXTEND THE TERM OF THE CONTRACT clause. The total contract term, including option, shall not exceed 60 months. Estimated dollar range is between 1,000,000 and 5,000,000.00 for the Base Year. A limited number of bid packages will be available on or about 07 February 1995 at no charge and issued on a first come first serve basis. Only one set per request.
