Z -- INSTALL POWER MONITORING AND CONTROL SYSTEM Contact: J.E. Teahan, Contracts Administrator, 516-282-3140. This contract will be set aside for bidding by small businesses only. SIC code 1731 applies. Work consists of providing and installing a power monitoring and control system for the electrical distribution system in the Reactor Division. The work shall require all materials required for proper installation and operation. Items included will be the retrofit of low and medium voltage switchgears as well as all required programming of the computer system. All work will be awarded on a single contract. Estimated construction cost is $500,000 to $1,000,000. Estimated time is 26 weeks. Bid documents will be available on or about February 1, 1995. A 20% bid bond is required. Payment and performance bonds are required after contract award. Brookhaven is charging a non-refundable fee of $25 for bid documents. Personal checks made out to ``Brookhaven National Laboratory'' are acceptable. Checks may be sent immediately and bid packages will be mailed upon availability.
