Deliveries without First Article at the rate of 56 ea per month, with
75 ea subsequent monthly quantity starting at 240 days ADC. This
procurement requires prequlification. All responsible sources may
submit a proposal which shall be considered be the agency. Authority
and justification is FAR 6.302-1, Only One Source or Only a Limited
Number of Responsible Sources. This proposed action is for supplies for
which Government does not have specification and drawings to permit
full and open competition; however, it is restricted to approved
source(s) Chem FAB Corp., 1923 Central, Hot Springs, AR 71901; Bell
Helicopter Textron, Inc., P.O. Box 482, Fort Worth, TX 76101. The time
required for approval of new suppliers is such that award and delivery
cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source. Firms are
encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future
solicitations. Instructions are contained in Section L of the
