This procurement will be a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. This
procurement requires prequalification. All responsible sources may
submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Authority
and justification is FAR 6.302-1, Only One Source or Only a Limited
Number of Responsible Sources. This proposed contract action is for
supplies for which the Government does not have specifications and
drawings to permit full and open competition; however, it is restricted
to approved source(s) The Purdy Corp., Manchester, CT 06040; McDonnell
Douglas Helicopter Co., Mesa, AZ 85205; Aircraft Gear Corp., Chicago,
IL 60638. The time required for approval of new supplies is such that
award and delivery cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source.
Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for
future soliciations IAW the instructions contained in Section L of the
solicitation. Information on meeting of qualifications may also be
