The Navy's Fleet Industrial Supply Center Norfolk, Detachment Washington, D.C. intends to negotiate a sole source contract with RACAL-DATACOM, 200 M St., N.W., Suite 820, Washington, DC 20036, to provide for the upgrade (procurement, installation, configuration and training) and maintenance of an integrated communications switch located in the Navy Pentagon Computer Services (NAVPECOS) area of Pentagon Room 4C400. This procurement is for the ADP Resources Division, Assistant for Administration, Under Secretary of the Navy. This procurement includes (1) purchase of the parts necessary to upgrade the DCA (Digital Communications Associates) 207 data communications switch to an RNX6600 data communications switch, (2) installation and configuration of the upgrade within the present DCA207 switch, (3) 15 (fifteen) days of training for approximately 3 (three) people, and (4) maintenance of the upgraded switch for the remainder of Fiscal Year 1995. This will be a sole source procurement to RACAL-DATACOM, Inc., the present successor firm to DCA (the Original Equipment Manufacturer). The resulting contract will be a Firm Fixed Price Supply contract with services. Delivery is 30 (thirty) working days after award. A single award will be made for all items.
