59 -- RESISTOR BANK AND INTERRUPTER SWITCHES, HOOVER DAM, ARIZONA-NEVADA SOL 1425-5-SI-30-11660 POC Contact Ms. Sonja Poindexter, Procurement Technician at 702-293-8569; Synopsis No. 95-02 The Bureau of Reclamation has a requirement for fabricating a 900 kw load resistor and two medium voltage circuit interrupters for use with an emergency generator at Hoover Dam and Visitor Center. The work to be performed as part of this solicitation includes: (a) Fabricate new modular resistor units and install in NEMA 3R Enclosures; and (b) Fabricate two new medium voltage circuits interrupters to be installed in NEMA 1 Enclosures. This switchgear will be used as a transfer switch to switch from a preferred source of power to the standby power from the new emergency generator being furnished under a separate specification. The presolicitation notice (SF-1417) for this project is currently available. The estimated issuance date of the solicitation is February 17, 1995. The estimated date for receipt of bids is March 21, 1995. This solicitation is not restricted. For this acquisition the standard industrial classification code is 3625 and the small business size standard is 750 employees.
