The Directorate of Public Works, Environmental Management Division of the U.S. Army Infantry Center, Fort Benning, Georgia announces a call for information on contractor capabilities to provide archeological and historical services for Fort Benning. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, Phase I through Phase III archeological surveys and historical research to meet both mandated requirements as well as public outreach and education goals relating to cultural resources at Fort Benning. Also of interest are contractor capabilities in GIS analyses using archeological survey, remote sensing and other data in rigorous systematic approach in the prediction and explanation of archeological and historical sites at Fort Benning. Improvement is sought in the capability of Fort Benning, to meet mandated requirements with greater efficiency, plus make positive contributions to the fields of cultural resources management, archeology, history and related fields. Broad based methods of presenting to the public, in ''user friendly'' format, the cumulative acquired knowledge of previous and future CRM efforts at Fort Benning are desired.
