Y -- CONSTRUCTION OF A WAREHOUSE EXPANSION SOL IPI-B-1362-95 DUE 030395 POC Contract Specialist, WALLIS, GREG, 202-508-8500 UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries, Inc. intends to enter into a firm, fixed price construction contract to expand an existing warehouse facility located at the Federal Correctional Complex in Florence, Colorado. Approximately 5,000 square feet will be added to the existing warehouse. The approximate magnitude of the construction work is between $200,000 and $500,000. The contractor's responsibility includes, but is not limited to, the following: preparation of the site, all required caissons and foundations, erection of warehouse, installation of all interior and exterior concrete work, all required water, gas, and electrical requirements, etc. The tentative date for issuance of a solicitation is February 1, 1995 with a tentative bid opening date of March 3, 1995.
