(202)685-8227. This is a Design/Build Solicitation. The work includes
the removal and replacement of all roof assemblies for buildings 44, 57
and 108. The roofs range from slate and built-up roofs to metal roofs.
The Estimated Cost Range is between $100,000 and $500,000. The
Standard Industrial Code is 1761. The related small business size
standard is $7 million. This proposed contract listed here is 100%
set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) Concerns. The
contractor will be selected by informal competitive negotiation. The
offerors will be evaluated on price and other non-price (technical
/management) related criteria. Technical/management factors may include
''Experience and Past Performance'', ''Technical Approach'',
''Scheduling'' and ''Staffing''. Award may be made from the initial
proposals. Do not call for any additional technical information. The
only site visit is tentatively scheduled for 14 February 1995 at 10:00
am. A pre-proposal conference will be held immediately afterwards in
Building 166 at the Washington Navy Yard to answer any questions. Date
for receipt of proposals is scheduled for 28 Febtuary 1995 at 10:00
