Washer must contain the following characteristics: heavy duty, large capacity hydrospray washer designed for efficient cleaning of cages, racks, debris pans, and miscellaneous items used in the care of laboratory animals. Double door and pit mounted, designed for left side service access. 208 volts, 3-phase, 60hz. Features to include: reusable-throwaway detergent system, automatic self-cleaning screen, modular construction, oscillating jet system, 180 degree F. final rinse. Microcomputer control system that monitors & automatically controls all process operations & functions. Separate acid detergent treatment after the alkaline wash, energized by a clearly marked button on the control panel. All components and piping that come in contact with the acid solutions are stainless steel. Pan washer with additional jets mounted on the spray headers, spraying outward and brackets mounted on one side wall for simultaneous washing of debris pans, cage floors, etc. Feeder bottle washing system equipped with a valving system capable of diverting recirculating solutions to a bottle washing cart and is installed in a machine with a quick disconnect fitting, interpiped and interwired for automatic operation.
