This is a notification of intent to procure in accordance with Federal Information Resources Management Regulation (FIRMR) 201-32.206(f)(Temp Reg 11) through an existing GSA Telecommunications schedules contracts. Telecommunications schedule firms must indicate their interest within 15 days of this publication. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, the contracting officer may determine that a solicitation will be issued. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published, and such solicitation will be issued to the intended schedule vendor and all firms that respond to this synopsis of intent or otherwise request a copy of the solicitation. Non-Telecommunica- tions firms will also be considered, but only if responding with clear and convincing documentation that it is advantageous to consider non-schedule offers. Pricing figures should be included along with, if possible a current GSA contract number. If no affirmative written responses are received which demonstrate that a comparable source is available or that it is more advan- tageous for the Government than purchasing from the Telecommunications schedule, an order will be placed with Alcatel Network Systems against their current GSA Schedule Contract.
