The control system is to control the following components: Four Manitou Model PS-3 RF Sputter Supplies, One DC Sputter Power Supply, Sirem GMP-03 KE/D, 300 Watt Microwave Power Supply, MKS Type 146 Vacuum Gauage Measurement and Control System and Type 147 Multi Gas Controller, Substrate Heater Power Supply and Rotation Control, Inficon Model XTC Thin Film Controller, Cryopump, Mechanical Pump, VAT Model 64 Valve Controller (Gate Valve) and 4 Valves and 5 Pneumatic Shutters. Be capable of executing a recipe driven deposition run which requires the scheduled control of all the above. Software Safety Interlocks. Have operating programs that can be readily altered by the user. Use a 486 or higher microprocessor and be capable of multitasking.
