70 -- COMPUTER SATURN II SOL DAAD09-95-N-0001 DUE 013195 POC Contract Specialist, Helen Adams, (801)831-2737 The US Army Dugway Proving Ground, UT intends to place an order against GSA Federal Supply Schedule Contract No. GS-00F-4773A for 1 each computer, Saturn II, 110 volt, Part No. 0392000300, includes 3400 CX GC, ION trap mass spectrometer, and a Varian qualified 486 micro computer with a 240 MB hard drive 4 MB RAM, 3.5 inch floppy disk, high resolution color monitor and mouse. The Saturn 3 supports the wave-board technologies and pate. Includes software for full instrument control data handling and library search routines. Written responses including GSA contract number (if applicable), prices, and a description containing sufficient technical documentation to establish a bonafide capability to meet the requirement stated above, and received by this office within 15 calendar days after publication of this notice, will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to issue a competitive procurement. When a response is received from a non-scheduled vendor that meets the requirement, and an analysis indicates that a competitive acquisition would be more advantageous to the government, a formal solicitation will be issued.
