Bauer, Contracting Officer, (208) 526-0090 The U.S. Department of Energy intends to solicit financial assistance applications on the basis of full and open competition, for cost-sharing for Research, Development and Demonstration of New and Advanced Technology for the Glass Industry. The current objective of the program is to award two or more cooperative agreements to support the program. The maximum DOE participation for program funding is anticipated to be $2,000,000.00. The program is expected to have a duration period of three years. However, funds awarded will be for one year (twelve month) periods, with continuations into subsequent years contingent upon available DOE funding. Profit making entities, individuals, educational institutions, and nonprofit institutions are eligible to compete for an award. It is anticipated the solicitation (in its entirety) for this program will be published in the Federal Register on or about January 25, 1995.
