Due 28 Feb 95. No telephone or fax requests. Only written requests received directly from the requestor are acceptable. This notice of intent is a Request for Quotation. This is not a request for competitive proposals. The Air Force is soliciting market information from industry to be used for planning purposes. The ATS-E35E and Airborne Launch Control Center Automatic Test Systems are under consideration for replacement. These systems support the Minuteman/Peacekeeper missile ground electronics and ALCC components. The ATS-E35E has an HP/1000F processor and the ALCC-ATS has an HP1000-A900 both which are GPIB (IEEE 488) bus architecture. There are approximately 275 SRUs and 85 LRUs currently tested on the ATS-E35E of which about 65% are analog, 15% are digital, 20% are hybrid. The ALCC-ATS currently tests 19 SRUs and 11 LRUs of which 65% are analog and 35% are digital. There are also 37 ALCC circuit card assemblies that have no present ATE repair capability which will require the development of SRU TPSs. Finally, 61 SRU TPS which are currently hosted on the Fluke Trendar tester will require rehosting. The Air Force requests the contractor to submit an approach to replace the ATS-E35E and ALCC test systems and the associated TPSs, to develop the 37 additional ALCC SRU TPSs, and to develop 61 new SRU TPSs which currently reside on the Fluke Trendar tester. The Air Force also requests cost estimate Rough Order of Magnitudes (ROM) for the following (1) hardware replacement (including test stations, ITAs, and other ancillary equipment), (2) the software replacement (including TPS application software, control and support software, self-test and calibration software), (3) documentation, and (4) contractor maintenance cost for the integrated system.
