The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has a requirement to conduct focus group testing for Form 1040 and related schedules. The forms and instructions will be redesigned. The purpose of this project is to conduct focus group interviews to gain input, suggestions and acceptance from taxpayers, essential for enhancing voluntary compliance. Contractors must demonstrate the following: the ability to successfully handle survey research studies involving focus group interviews, and demonstrate experience within the last three years; ability to handle the project from both a technical and a managerial point of view; is capable of producing a timely and quality product, without unnecessary delays or interference with Government functions.
